We Provide Solutions With Integrity
Tell Me More

Interior design may not be something that comes natural to you, but it is needed to make a space feel more inviting, functional and improve your quality of life.  You can hire a professional or DIY it to spruce up your home and make it feel more inviting to you and your guests. Our surroundings have a huge impact on the way we behave, feel, and act toward one another.

Inspiration for design is everywhere you look.  Imagine with me for a moment when you stop your busy life and see what the world around you has to offer.  There is so much beauty around you from the colors, shapes, and uniqueness this world has to offer to us. We are living in a world where there is so much design possibility that anything can inspire you if you stop and open your eyes.  I am guilty of this same thing where I don’t take the time to stop and appreciate the beauty around me.  I am inspired more often when I take the time to be intentional with everyday living.

If you are not inspired easily or don’t know where to start to look for design inspiration here are some creative ways to look at the world for design.

Hotels

Hotels have impeccable design elements throughout their spaces. From the moment you check in to the moment you leave the hotel, you can see design all around. Their bedding, color schemes, and unique ideas inspire me. Next time you are traveling and stay at a hotel, notice what strikes your attention. Take a picture and write it down. It could be as detailed to their wall paper or the geometric shape on their throw pillows.  The possibilities can be endless!

Nature

God is quite the artist isn’t He? He was so creative when he made the trees, animals, textures, smells, and shapes.  Take a walk on a hiking trail and see if the outdoors starts your creative juices flowing.  It could be the smooth river rocks you see on a trail that you could place down in a master shower or pinecones you want to incorporate into your dining room centerpiece.

Vacation

You can relax when you are unplugged and able to slow down life and really enjoy sipping a cup of coffee or my favorite a cup of English Breakfast tea as you watch a sunrise.  You are inspired by the sounds of the ocean waves rolling in or the birds chirping and singing their happy song.  I am most inspired while on vacation because I am disconnected from my daily rhythm of life.  I can recharge my batteries while the warm sun kisses my skin.

There are many more other creative ways to find your next design project inspiration, but this is a good start. Now, open your eyes and drown out the busyness of life so you can be inspired too.

As always, God bless!
